The third quarter of 2022 saw varied performance for the top 5 theme park apps on iOS in Hungary. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Disneyland® Paris showed a steady download rate, starting at 161 downloads in late June and peaking at 180 downloads in mid-July. However, downloads dipped to 93 by the end of August before recovering slightly to 125 by the end of September. Active users for this app started at 353 and saw a slight increase to 372 mid-July, then fluctuated before ending the quarter at 315.

Universal Studios Hollywood™ had a modest download performance, starting at 39 downloads in late June and peaking at 54 downloads in early August. Downloads then gradually declined, ending the quarter at just 13. Active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at 65 and peaking at 93 in early August before dropping to 58 by the end of September.

Gardaland Resort App Ufficiale experienced a peak in downloads mid-July with 68 downloads, but saw a sharp decline to just 3 downloads by the end of September. Active users started at 34 and peaked at 55 in early August, before decreasing to 31 by mid-September.

Europa-Park & Rulantica witnessed a notable spike in downloads mid-July, reaching 70 downloads. However, this figure dropped significantly to just 2 by mid-September. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 10 and peaking at 81 in mid-July, then declining to 49 by the end of August.

Finally, Disneyland® saw a relatively low download rate, peaking at 36 downloads in mid-August and dropping to just 2 by the end of September. Active users showed a peak of 62 in mid-July but saw a sharp decline to zero by the end of the quarter.
